Dana Darvish (1975–2025) was a multidisciplinary artist and photographer who passed away from cancer at the age of fifty. Her work explores questions of identity, memory, fragmentation, and transformation through collages that combine archival materials, found imagery, and art-historical references. Her sustained artistic research focused on the relationships between body and sexuality, psyche and mourning, emptiness and loss, as well as the encounter between femininity and animality, engaging with feminist discourse and the history of art.
Darvish studied at the Hamidrasha Faculty of Art at Beit Berl College. Since the early 2000s she presented five solo exhibitions and participated in dozens of group exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including Art Cube, Jerusalem; the Center for Contemporary Art, Arad; the Ramat Gan Museum of Israeli Art; and the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Her work received support from the Lottery Council for Culture and the Arts, the Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts, and the Plumas Art Foundation, and is held in private and museum collections.
Her artist book, Study for Woman נפש חיה בי, published by Sternthal Books in 2024, was acquired by the Kandinsky Library at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

Rami Maymon (b. 1976) is an artist and photographer living and working in Tel Aviv. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem; participated in the Cooper Union School of Art student exchange program in New York; and completed the Bezalel M.F.A. Program in Tel Aviv.
Maymon's practice moves between photography, collage, sculpture, and installation, using the exhibition space as a key element in shaping both the viewer's gaze and their movement through space. His work examines the relationships between photography and reconstruction, original and copy, and the dismantling and reconfiguration of images drawn from art history. Creating dialogues, metamorphoses, and hybrids between East and West, the local and the universal, and the ancient and the contemporary, Maymon’s artistic practice traces alternative genealogies and new pathways within the field of art history.
Maymon has presented solo exhibitions at major institutions in Israel and abroad, including the Tel Aviv Museum of Art; the Norton Museum of Art, West Palm Beach, Florida; the 12th International Biennale of Contemporary Art, Naples; the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art; Mishkan Museum of Art, Ein Harod; and the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in Israel and internationally.
Maymon is the recipient of the Lauren and Mitchell Presser Photography Award for a Young Israeli Artist from the Tel Aviv Museum of Art; the Rodin Photography Award from the Norton Museum of Art, West Palm Beach, Florida; the Minister of Culture Award from the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sport; and the Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Education and Culture. His work has received support from the Lottery Council for Culture and the Arts, the Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts, and the Plumas Art Foundation, and is included in private, public, and museum collections.
