Humankind devised systems of measure to define its place in the world. Yet even as measurement became more refined, deviation and distortion have remained an inseparable part of it. This sculptural installation examines the encounter between body and measure, challenging the dynamics that connect them. Grounded in the artist’s own body and in the inevitable failures of estimation, the work raises a question: within the cold, rational language of measurement, can we also uncover poetics — and a reflection on the human condition?
